The LL.M. (Master of Laws) program at Chanakya is designed for law graduates seeking advanced knowledge, specialization, and research-oriented legal education. Open to candidates holding an LL.B. degree or a five-year integrated law qualification, the program provides an in-depth understanding of contemporary legal issues and emerging areas of law.
The curriculum is carefully structured to enhance analytical, research, and advocacy skills, preparing students for dynamic roles in the legal profession. Students can choose from three specialized streams
Group A - Constitutional and Administrative Law, focusing on governance and public law
Group B- Corporate Law, addressing business, commercial regulations, and corporate practices
Group C- Criminology, Penology and Victimology, which explores criminal justice systems and societal impact.
The LL.M. program opens doors to diverse career opportunities, including roles in judiciary, legal consultancy, corporate sectors, academia, and independent legal practice. Graduates are well-equipped to appear for Judicial Service Examinations, contribute to policy-making, or pursue teaching and research careers in universities and law institutions.
